Floor heating and cooling

Underfloor heating systems have seen considerable development in recent years, thanks mainly to the comfort and energy-saving requirements imposed by regulations. Today, the high level of technology achieved by electronic control systems allows us to safely exploit the typical advantages of underfloor heating as well as the summer cooling of rooms, giving us an air conditioning system that can be used 365 days a year.

The FIVPAV system is the most comfortable and safe solution for using the floor as a heating body during the winter and as a cooling body during the summer. In detail, the floor transmits heat to the environment by absorbing radiation evenly and involving all building structures. The temperature of the water circulating in the pipes is low, which limits the temperature of the floor to about 24°C, preventing convective motions that drag in dust and not allowing dust to decompose. Thin insulation panels and mixing units of various types enable the installation of underfloor heating systems in any building.

The Klettjet system is FIV's new system for underfloor heating and cooling systems, which adopts the quick-attach system to make the installer's task easier and faster. With a simple press of the foot, the special tape spirally wrapped around PE-Xc cross-linked polyethylene pipes firmly attaches to the Klettjet panel film, holding the pipes firmly in place and setting a new standard for radiant systems embedded in the floor with flat panels. Traditional pipe fastening systems such as clips, plastic bars, and the use of special tools are no longer required. The system allows the installer to work independently and easily modify the installation of circuits, as the pipe can be detached and reattached several times from the panel, as with all the tear-off fastening systems we use daily in the clothing industry.
