Fivpex and fivpert multilayer pipes

FIVPex and FIVPert Multilayer Pipes

Multilayer pipes offer notable mechanical characteristics, effectively resisting high pressures and high operating temperatures: ideal for the construction of sanitary systems and radiant heating or cooling systems.

The FIVPex and FIVPert multilayer pipes represent the ideal solution for the conduction of water in distribution, heating, and cooling systems.

Thanks to their structure, FIV's multilayer pipes offer remarkable mechanical properties, effectively withstanding high pressures and high operating temperatures. Furthermore, they stand out for their excellent resistance to corrosion, minimal thermal expansion, impermeability to oxygen diffusion, and the ability to prevent the formation of scale.

It is essential that all materials used in the multilayer system are physiologically safe for the transport of food fluids and able to guarantee the integrity and quality of the water, in line with the provisions of the national law M.D. 174. Our pipes are certified by external bodies: Kiwa UNI (Italy) and NF (France) with regard to FIVPEX piping and Kiwa UNI (Italy), NF (France) and DWGV (Germany) with regard to FIVPERT piping.

The application classes identify the conditions of use in terms of temperature and the relative maintenance period at this value, as reported below, while the field of use is completely defined by the pressure value associated with the individual class. Naturally, a given product (pipe) may belong to more than one application class. On the insulated pipe, in addition to the information indicated previously, the thickness of the insulating sheath is declared, compliant with what is declared in the Catalogue.

Technical characteristics of FIVPEX and FIVPERT pipes

The FIVPEX pipe belongs to the new generation of multilayer pipes for plumbing and heating systems. It is made of composite material through a technologically advanced process with which a PE-Xb (cross-linked polyethylene) tube is coupled to an aluminum core (with a minimum thickness of 0.2 mm) butt welded, externally coated with another PE-Xb layer. The FIVPEX pipe combines the excellent characteristics of PE-X with the properties of the thin metal layer, which determines new advantages:

- shape stability combined with excellent flexibility;

- limited linear expansion, similar to a metal tube;

- 100% safe oxygen barrier;

- good thermal conductivity;

- possibility of using clamp fittings.

FIVPEX is the ideal pipe for easily laying underfloor heating circuits.

The FIVPert pipe belongs to the new generation of multilayer pipes for plumbing and heating systems. It is made of composite material, made homogeneous and solid through a technologically advanced process with which a PE-RT (non-cross-linked polyethylene) pipe is created. with high resistance to high temperatures), reinforced by a butt-welded aluminum core and externally covered with another layer of PE-RT. The FIVPert pipe combines the excellent characteristics of PE-RT with the properties of the thin metal layer.

FIVPert is also the ideal pipe for easily laying underfloor heating circuits, as the FIVPAV radiant system works at low temperatures.
